Welcome to Hartees Air Adventures. By booking, participating in, or using any of our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests while protecting the operational standards of our company.

General Information

Hartees Air Adventures is a professional hot air balloon tour operator based in Hartbeespoort, offering scenic balloon experiences and related tourism services throughout selected regions of South Africa.

 

All flights and activities are subject to weather conditions, aviation regulations, operational requirements, and pilot discretion.

 

By confirming a booking, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Booking Policy

2.1 All bookings are subject to availability.

 

2.2 Reservations are only confirmed once payment or the required deposit has been received and confirmed by Hartees Air Adventures.

 

2.3 Customers are responsible for ensuring that all booking information provided is accurate and complete.

 

2.4 Hartees Air Adventures reserves the right to refuse bookings at its discretion.

 

2.5 Bookings may be made online, via telephone, email, social media platforms, or authorised booking partners.

Payment Terms

3.1 Full payment may be required before the scheduled flight date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

3.2 Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

 

3.3 All advertised pricing is subject to seasonal availability, special events, promotional campaigns, and operational changes.

 

3.4 Failure to complete payment within the required time period may result in cancellation of the booking.

 

3.5 Additional fees may apply for private bookings, customised tours, transport services, photography packages, or special requests.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

4.1 Customer Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the flight date may qualify for a partial or full refund, subject to administrative fees.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled booking may not qualify for a refund.

  • No-shows or late arrivals may result in full forfeiture of payment.

4.2 Weather Cancellations

  • Hot air balloon flights are weather-dependent and safety-sensitive.

  • Hartees Air Adventures reserves the right to cancel or postpone flights due to:

    • Strong winds

    • Rain

    • Fog

    • Poor visibility

    • Unsafe flying conditions

    • Aviation authority restrictions

4.3 In the event of a weather-related cancellation, customers may:

  • Reschedule their booking

  • Receive a booking credit

  • Qualify for a refund depending on company policy and circumstances

4.4 Hartees Air Adventures shall not be liable for additional costs incurred by guests, including accommodation, transport, missed flights, or travel expenses.
